Etnies shoes are decent, but I think the Callicut to be heavy and overly padded, but that, s my preference. Take the card to a skate shop and see what can be salvaged. If only the cover, then you may be able to get a blank space for about $ 20. grip tape with masking tape is basically sand. Its approximate area keeps your feet from sliding pff the board and gives you more control when maneuvering the board.
