Dan Quayle set the bar very high for dumbest VP in history. Did Palin clear it in high heels?

in Clear High Heels

I am not sure. Because Quayle actually intended to be a President one day and prepared for it. Palin never thought about it until a few months ago.
Yes I know she was just a candidate. They do not give much space for your question.

rialisi March 11, 2010 at 10:57 am

The woman thought Africa was a country, and that South Africa was a region of that country. I hope all you McCain supporters realise the bullet you dodged!!

Scott K March 11, 2010 at 11:40 am

I thought Al Gore stole that honor.

jack spicer March 11, 2010 at 11:48 am

here’s a tougher question: what did palin think about up until a few months ago… it’s almost ZEN that question is….

4everAug March 11, 2010 at 12:07 pm

Palin is stupid and ….sad

Danni March 11, 2010 at 12:25 pm

Yes. Palin did clear it. No amount of preparation will change Palin. There is something missing upstairs.

cuzziman84 March 11, 2010 at 12:39 pm

Joe Biden will make an attempt to surpass Quayle unless he finally learned that Hoover was the President when the stock market crashed in ’29.

Sauerkraut March 11, 2010 at 1:17 pm

You betcha !

Alpha Male March 11, 2010 at 2:15 pm

haha she did but then she tripped an fell, making her even dumber.

2012 how is that sexist?

Dan Quayle was a man bimbo and she is a woman bimbo, there is no sexism there.

and also she is a doer? no one said she wasn’t, she has 5 kids for crying out loud lol

DDR March 11, 2010 at 2:36 pm

How long have you known Dan Quayle? Or is your assessment of his intellect based soly on the “potato” incident?

How did you rank Sen Biden when he talked about FDR’s heroic address to the country on TV as president in 1929, before he was President and before TV?

What was really pathetic was Katy Couric’s non response to the mistake.

FUHummer March 11, 2010 at 3:04 pm

She’s not smart….but she is crafty and conniving.

just me March 11, 2010 at 3:25 pm

I think Palin cleared it…Whether she prepared for the VP position or not, as a governor of a US state, she should have known the role of the VP.

My youngest son knew the VP’s role. And he is only 9 years old.

juella March 11, 2010 at 3:27 pm

Women will one day rule the world, in high heels. (Why are you pink?)

Krissy March 11, 2010 at 3:32 pm

OH for crying out loud ~ clearing it in high heels? Give me a break

and for rilaisila: No you’re wrong about that story
Please read to educate yourself :

NEW YORK — MSNBC was the victim of a hoax when it reported that an adviser to John McCain had identified himself as the source of an embarrassing story about former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, the network said Wednesday.

David Shuster, an anchor for the cable news network, said on air Monday that Martin Eisenstadt, a McCain policy adviser, had come forth and identified himself as the source of a FOX News Channel story saying Palin had mistakenly believed Africa was a country instead of a continent.

Eisenstadt identifies himself on a blog as a senior fellow at the Harding Institute for Freedom and Democracy. Yet neither he nor the institute exist; each is part of a hoax dreamed up by a filmmaker named Eitan Gorlin and his partner, Dan Mirvish, the New York Times reported Wednesday.

The Eisenstadt claim had mistakenly been delivered to Shuster by a producer and was used in a political discussion Monday afternoon, MSNBC said.

“The story was not properly vetted and should not have made air,” said Jeremy Gaines, network spokesman. “We recognized the error almost immediately and ran a correction on air within minutes.”

Gaines told the Times that someone in the network’s newsroom had presumed the information solid because it was passed along in an e-mail from a colleague.

The hoax was limited to the identity of the source in the story about Palin — not the FOX News story itself. While Palin has denied that she mistook Africa for a country, the veracity of that report was not put in question by the revelation that Eisenstadt is a phony.

Eisenstadt’s “work” had been quoted and debunked before. The Huffington Post said it had cited Eisenstadt in July on a story regarding the Hilton family and McCain.

Among the other victims were political blogs for the Los Angeles Times and The New Republic, each of which referenced false material from Eisenstadt’s blog.

And in July, Jonathan Stein of Mother Jones magazine blogged an item about Eisenstadt speaking on Iraqi television about a casino in Baghdad’s “Green Zone.”

Stein later realized he’d been had.

“Kudos to the inventor of this whole thing,” Stein wrote. “My only consolation is that if I had as much time on my hands as he clearly does, I probably would have figured this out and saved myself a fair amount of embarrassment.”

Now, that’s funny! I do believe Palin topped Quayle on the dumbness meter, but Quayle is more of a patriot, while Palin is more of a secessionist. Those two, along with GWB, make Democratic candidates seem like very sharp and informed people. I hope Palin runs for President in four years, which would secure another victory for the Democrats.

c00lcuke March 11, 2010 at 5:05 pm

Couldn’t believe it when she kept winking into the camera during the TV debate. Never seen anything like it before. Did she think she was running for beauty queen?

wisdom4u March 11, 2010 at 5:28 pm

I think you should be more worried about the smooth talking Marxist you put into the White House. Watch our recession turn into a long depression. Notice the stock market tumbling since election day? Hold onto your hats, it’s going to be a rough 4 years unless the Republicans take over Congress in 2010 as they did with Clinton.

jackbauer the2nd March 11, 2010 at 5:53 pm

PALIN IS NOT THE VP!!! dumbass

Mister T March 11, 2010 at 6:26 pm

Nope, she never became VP. For was much as a dumba** as Palin is she’s WAY ahead of some of the dumbest politicians ever. Bush? Dan Quayle? Those two make Palin look like Stephen Hawkins.

Derrick E March 11, 2010 at 7:23 pm

Palin is a sad embarrassment to this great nation.

notyoungenough March 11, 2010 at 8:10 pm

She couldn`t even begin to be in the dumbest class as joey biden or barry boy, you know she at least knew how many states we have in the united states of america, and that roosevelt wasn`t on t-v in 1929, why is it the media let so many things go when this con-artist imitation of a real man barry boy, stated things which weren`t the truth, or when joey boys mouth ran like a toilet, even Dan Quayle did not make so many vile illiterate, ignorant mistakes as our messiah and his main man did………….wake up and smell the coffee before its too late and you have walked yourself of the cliff

gregory_dittman March 11, 2010 at 9:01 pm

Biden is much dumber that Palin. Every time he tries to say something, it’s wrong.

It didn’t help Palin that the media flat out lied about Palin.

Chancy R March 11, 2010 at 10:40 pm

Palin won the fickle finger of dimwittedness for all of America. A title she wears proudly.

Tokolosh March 11, 2010 at 10:57 pm

Palin seems to have missed the fact that the campaign is OVER!
She is still making stump speeches.

Natasha B March 11, 2010 at 11:49 pm

I think she is pretty….out there…

She would not even answer the questions during the debate..and said “I will not answer them the way you want me to”…the moderator would ask about other things and she would respond to it with nothing of real substance. Everyone kept saying “she did great!” simply because she did not royally screw up…
I think if it were a test she would have failed miserably..you cant take a test and expect to pass it when you refused to answer half the questions…and lost track on others.

Only time will truly tell
It’s scary to think she has four years to be trained to mask all of that stupidity…
she probably views it like training for a pageant…*wink*

Quayle has set the bar very high though….

kae_crystal2003 March 12, 2010 at 12:01 am

Actually sir, the thing i watched entertainment and she got forced to do it by john mccain. And she said she hated it. And alot of colleague and she couldn’t prove her self wrong.

kinger2314 March 12, 2010 at 12:41 am

She shattered that glass indeed, but not in the way she would have wanted.
